Juvenile Justice (DJJ) protects the public by preparing

communities within the Commonwealth. DJJ is seeking a Waste Water
Treatment Plant Operator Sr. This role will serve as domestic water
and waste water plant operator for DJJ Virginia Public Safety
Training Center (VPSTC) and Barrett Waste Water Treatment Plant
(WWTP), and strives to protect the existing high quality of state
water and maintain an effluent of discharge of such quality that
will provide for health, welfare and safety of the community and
protection of fish, game and other aquatic life. Must have a valid
driver's license. We are offering a $5,000.00 sign-on bonus to
eligible hires (upon licensure obtained). Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of standard waste water practices licensing and trades.
Knowledge of standard domestic water supply practices, licensing
and trades. Knowledge of general maintenance, repair and
grounds/landscaping duties. Additional Considerations Domestic
Water and Waste Water License Operator Class 1, 2 or 3
certifications. Knowledge of maintenance department-mowing,
trimming and maintaining a safe environment. Special Instructions
