Position information: This is an hourly position that is on demand with competitive pay Substitutes will be scheduled for all shifts Monday through Friday between the hours of 6:30 am to 6:00 pm or 6:00 am to 6:30 pm This position reports to the Center Director This position has no supervisory responsibilities Duties What You’ll Do: Ability to travel and cover positions within the district (locations include Ashland, Chester, Colonial Heights, Mechanicsville, Midlothian, and Richmond) Create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to students Support children through learning, play, meals, and rest Maintain a clean, organized, and inspiring classroom environment Collaborate with your team to develop creative curriculum ideas Communicate with families daily through mobile apps and personal updates Cover lunch, breaks, and other duties as assigned Requirements What You Bring: CDA, ECE certificate, associate’s or bachelor’s degree in ECE or related field (or equivalent coursework) Minimum 1 year of experience in a related role for a licensed childcare or educational facility required Active enrollment in an accredited program may be considered with experience Ability to meet Virginia licensing standards and pass a background check Willingness to work flexible hours based on program needs Nice To Haves You’re a Great Fit If You: Love children and early childhood education Are committed to the families and communities we serve Love teaching and know how to create teachable moments Are passionate about education and lifelong learning Believe that parents are partners in their child’s education Benefits What We Offer: Health and Dental insurance coverage is available to full-time employees Childcare discounts, including discounts on our primary school classrooms and public school before and after-school programs Flexible Spending Accounts, which allow employees to set aside pre-tax dollars to use towards annual medical expenses A 401(k) plan with an employer match for eligible employees Paid training onsite and an Educational Allowance program to assist employees with continuing education Paid leave for eligible employees Complimentary meals onsite At LLE Education Group, we believe teaching is more than a job, it is a calling.
