Job Description:
Join TruckPro, LLC, a leader in the truck and trailer parts and
repair industry since 1958, as our new Hybrid Service Writer /
Diesel Mechanic. This dual-role position harnesses your expertise
in mechanical repair with strong customer service skills, providing
a bridge between our clients and the technical team. You will play
a key part in ensuring operational excellence and customer
satisfaction by effectively managing repair orders and conducting
high-quality repairs on diesel trucks and trailers. Greet customers
and gather detailed information about vehicle issues and repair
timelines Translate customer-reported problems into actionable work
orders for the mechanic team Perform inspections and preventive
maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, and other truck and
trailer components Diagnose faults using TruckPro’s advanced
diagnostic tools and equipment Estimate repair costs and
timeframes, clearly communicating them to customers Ensure all
repairs are performed to meet industry standards and safety
regulations Maintain accurate records of services provided and
parts used Collaborate with parts department to procure necessary
inventory Continuously update job knowledge and technical skills by
participating in educational opportunities In-depth knowledge of
diesel engine components and systems Proficiency in customer
service and generating repair orders Ability to work with
diagnostic equipment and software Skillful in problem-solving and
decision-making Strong organizational and communication skills
