Job Description:
Key Responsibilities Set up and operate manual and precision
machine tools including lathes, milling machines, shapers, planers,
and precision grinders Interpret blueprints, sketches, and
engineering specifications to determine machining sequence and
setup requirements Calculate dimensions, tooling requirements,
feeds, and speeds using standard shop mathematics Measure, mark,
and lay out stock for machining using precision measuring
instruments Use machinist hand tools and inspection equipment to
ensure parts meet exact tolerances Fit and assemble precision
components into mechanical equipment Determine materials, parts,
and tooling required for production Modify and adjust numerically
controlled (NC) programs as needed Monitor and verify product
quality in accordance with statistical process control and quality
procedures Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Qualifications Minimum 5 years of related machining experience
Strong blueprint reading and technical interpretation skills
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments Experience with
NC/CNC programming modifications preferred Strong problem-solving
skills and attention to detail High School Diploma or GED required
Completion of a formal apprenticeship or equivalent technical
training preferred Must be a US Citizen Job Type: Full-time Pay:
$35.00 Per hour $120 Perdiem NON LOCAL ONLY $$$ HIRE BONUS$$$
