CTR Group is seeking a PRODUCT QUALITY MANAGER for a global manufacturer in the Newport News, VA, area. Immediate opening and urgently hiring! May be able to work from home part of the time. SUMMARY: As Product Quality Manager for a Global Manufacturer of automotive heavy equipment, you will plan, coordinate and direct quality assurance activities for the production of products consistent with Company standards personally or through supervisors who report to you. Job Requirements:REQUIREMENTS:

• B.S. degree in Engineering or other technical degree and 5-7 years of experience in a Quality Role.
• 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in Manufacturing
• Able to use 5Why, 8D and Fishbone tools for problem solving tasks
• Knowledge of basic statistical methods
• Project Management skills
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Able to conduct professional meetings
• Able to use basic dimensional measurement tools
• MS Office: Word, Excel, Access and -Contact Management systems
• ISO9001 experience preferred
• Process Improvement methodologies such as LEAN, Six Sigma are preferred
• Teamwork and communication skills
• Must be able to travel within the US and abroad up to 25% of the time
