Threat Tec, LLC, a Veteran-Owned Small Business, has an immediate opening for an IT Technical Services Manager, with a multitude of experience in software development, IT operations, and technical program management in cloud and on-premises computing environments to support our client at Ft. Eustis, VA.
The Information Technology (IT) Technical Services Manager directs staff responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of TRADOC G2 IT systems. They supervise and collaborate with staff members and clients to implement security goals. They also ensure the delivery of all products in an efficient and timely manner. TRADOC G2 maintains the integrity/availability of systems and host infrastructure by implementing, testing, documenting, and assessing solutions to capability gaps using internally created and/or commercial off-the-shelf components and best practice techniques.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide technical consulting, requirements gathering to implement IT Service Management (ITSM) processes
• Mission task lead for numerous IT undertakings including NIPR email accounts, SIPR Token Management, SIPR and JWICS access and email Account Management, issuing government cell phones and wifi hotspot accounts
• Systems Administrator participating in managing technology tools and network servers
• Implement Information Assurance standards for protecting against and managing risk related to use, storage and transmission of data and information systems
• Familiar with JWICS, RMF/eMASS, as well as DoD STIGS, POLICY knowledge across Cloud/SIPR/JWICS
• Participate with Enterprise Architect and Cloud Engineering team for implementing an enterprise SSO service to include: Gaining enterprise support, planning application integration, preparing SSO service integration, integrating applications, and federating application access
• Manage the implementation of an enterprise Unix environment in support of product development.
• Manage design and planning for proprietary software that interfaces with the Cloud Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
• Manage to a develop scorecard of KPIs to baseline and trend performance of all service areas.
• Develop IT Service Level ITIL service management processes and institute the processes within the organization.
• Support Enterprise DevSecOps and software development life cycle SDLC standards for an enterprise used application development platform.
• Develop & implement automation strategies for OS provisioning, patching, and day-to-day administration tasks.
• Support end-to-end cloud implement for the TRADOC G2 enterprise and implementation of custom Azure DevSecOps solution
• Train and supervise facility staff on aspects of software operation and cloud computing
• Support end-to-end cloud implementations for the organization Background Requirements:
  • Must have 10 years' experience providing technical expertise concerning IT services management planning, development, implementation, problem resolution and administration.
  • Experience developing plans, policies, and procedures.
  • Able to effectively communicate with senior level leadership and across other organizations.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Server System and Linux/Unix Operating Systems.
  • Extensive DoD computing environment knowledge to include RMF and cybersecurity requirements
  • A strong understanding of Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies including IaaS/PaaS/SaaS
  • Secret Clearance with ability to earn Top Secret/SCI access
  • Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required
  • Excellent team player with strong collaboration skills to lead cross functional teams on multi-team integration projects; strong sense of commitment and responsibility
