Your role as Distribution Centre Manager

• Responsible for adopting a cultural transformation towards operational excellence, utilizing established continuous improvement/lean methodologies focused on loss elimination while ensuring Safety, Service, Cost, and Environmental standards are met.
• Drive the necessary changes in the distribution culture, prioritizing safety and continuous improvement at all operational levels.
• Accountable for exceeding targets related to on-time and in-full deliveries.
• Lead initiatives to improve employee engagement across the site.
• Manage the site P&L and budget, ensuring risks are mitigated and opportunities are capitalized on.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain confidence and connectivity regarding service provision.
• Ensure statutory compliance and governance, including the continuous upholding of the O licence.Company DescriptionOn Site (5 days a week)Location -- St Edmunds DC- Fortress Way -Suffolk Park, Bury St Edmunds - Suffolk -IP32 7FQ -As a Distribution Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management, performance, and safety of the depot. This includes overseeing daily operations, managing teams, ensuring customer satisfaction, meeting KPIs, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations.
