Job Description Medical Lab Technician Williamsburg, V MUST: 2year of experience as a Medical Lab Tech Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact with staff and physicians Experience processing specimens bility to handle laboratory testing Running and approving CBCs Band patients for blood transfusions Experience processing, running and reporting CBC results. Specimen analysis of all Chemistry, Hematology and Immunology specimens QC Documentation Experience processing specimens bility to update records with clear documentation MT, ASCP or equivalent certification preferred ssociates degree in medical technology or laboratory science DUTIES: Duties of the Medical Lab Tech include but are not limited to the following: Perform all laboratory functions laboratory testing Run and approve CBCs Process, run and report CBC results. Process in-house and in-coming results for charting Perform specimen analysis of all Chemistry, Hematology and Immunology specimens Reviews, interprets laboratory tests for acceptability Reports clear, concise and legible results Maintains neat, clean and organized laboratory Maintain laboratory inventory and supplies *Quadrant, Inc. is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
