Offers the lifestyle of living in coastal community while having the big benefits of suburban living As our Cardio Thoracic Surgeon you will be employed by our established medical group and contribute to the team at our main flagship hospital with a closed ICU in Newport News, VA. Join our established, collaborative team seeing diversity of cases from the routine to complex cases. Your role will be to provide care to general thoracic and some cardiac surgery patients managing the full spectrum of their surgical care. Thoracic emphasis: We have a team of six Pulmonary Critical Care Physicians and have had a substantial growth in thoracic cases. If you prefer a role with emphasis on thoracic cases you can be busy with those cases and take call for cardiac cases. You will be located at Riverside Regional Medical Center (RRMC), a state-of-the-art, 450-bed, Level II Trauma Center located in Newport News, Virginia.
