A 114-bed facility that is not a trauma center is seeking a general surgeon for locum tenens coverage. Newport News, Virginia is only a short drive to Virginia Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. From this central Coastal Virginia location, you can experience ships, history, and the great outdoors. The schedule is 24-hour call coverage with low patient volume. Dates Needed: 9/30 - 10/1 Call Ratio/Schedule: 1:4 Case Load/PPD: 0-1 Shift Type: 24-Hour Shift Assignment Type: Inpatient Assignment Duration: Locums Call Required: Yes Board Certification Required: Yes Prescriptive Authority Required: Yes Government: No Reference ID: ORD-152932-MD-VA
