Job Description:

*Overview*We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health nursing and providing compassionate care to patients in need of psychiatric treatment.*Responsibilities*- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by psychiatrists- Monitor patients' mental health conditions and report any changes to the medical team- Provide therapeutic interventions and emotional support to patients- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations*Experience*- Previous experience in psychiatric nursing or a related field is preferred- Knowledge of discharge planning, medical-surgical care, trauma medicine, and infection control is beneficial- Familiarity with ventilator care, nursing home procedures, and toddler care is an advantage- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentJob Types: Full-time, ContractPay: $1,958.00 per weekBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Paid time off* Vision insuranceMedical Specialty:* PsychiatryPhysical Setting:* HospitalApplication Question(s):* WHAT IS YOUR EMAIL AND PHONE NUMBER?
