Williamsburg Landing, a distinguished and fully accredited
Continuing Care Retirement Community in Virginia, seeks a dedicated
Clinical Staffing Coordinator/Scheduler to join our dynamic
healthcare services team. In this vital role, you will be
instrumental in ensuring the optimal scheduling and coordination of
our clinical staff across various levels of care, from independent
living to skilled nursing facilities. This position requires a
detail-oriented professional who can efficiently manage staffing
schedules while upholding the highest standards of care and
compliance. Create and manage efficient, conflict-free staffing
schedules for nursing and allied health professionals across
multiple units. Collaborate with clinical department leaders to
assess staffing needs and respond to changes in patient acuity,
staff availability, and regulatory requirements. Ensure all shifts
are appropriately staffed according to patient needs and staff
qualifications/certifications. Maintain clear and accurate records
of staff scheduling, absences, vacation, and continuing education
requirements. Address and resolve scheduling conflicts promptly and
effectively. Participate in the recruitment and orientation process
for new clinical staff. Develop and maintain a positive working
relationship with all levels of staff to ensure smooth operational
flow and high morale. Utilize staffing software efficiently and
train staff members on its use as needed. Strong organizational and
time management skills Excellent interpersonal and communication
skills Proficient in staffing software and Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions
Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation
Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified
Staffing Professional (CSP) or similar certification is preferred
BLS Certification (CPR) may be required depending on department
specific needs
