Sentara Wound Healing Center Ambulatory- Port Warwick Diagnostic Center is hiring a Registered Nurse. License and Certification - Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing - Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire Education - RN-Associate's Degree, or - RN-Bachelor's Degree, or - RN-Diploma, or - RN-Master's Degree Sentara Wound Healing Center, provides state-of-the art treatment and comprehensive wound care to patients suffering from non-healing or chronic wounds. Our physician-directed treatment includes use of an innovative debridement device, as well as on-site Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy (HBO) when indicated. Our specialized staff works closely with referring physicians to develop an individualized treatment plan to provide the most optimal clinical outcome for each patient. Ongoing communication with referring physicians ensures your doctor is aware of your treatment progress. Our team uses a multidisciplinary care approach by working with and referring the patient to specialists from different areas of expertise such as vascular surgery, plastic surgery, orthopedic surgery, podiatry, infectious disease, endocrinology, pain management, and physical therapy. Additionally, clinical nutrition counseling and diabetes education is offered to patients and family members. We are also happy to assist with Durable Medical Equipment (DME) needs as part of our continuum of care.
