specialty experience within the last year License: Valid Radiologic
Technologist license required Certifications: ARRT R, BLS
Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Experience with the
charting system Epic preferred Experience in a Level 2 trauma
center preferred Description: The position involves operating X-ray
equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
Responsibilities include performing routine portables, primarily
for chest imaging. General radiography will take place in a
designated area. Ortho and neuro cases are part of the operating
room workload. Experience with fluoroscopy procedures, including
modified barium swallows, is beneficial. Team collaboration is
essential for interdisciplinary support. Patient demographics
include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The daily census in
the unit is approximately 200. The position requires the handling
of various imaging studies, including abdomen and spine imaging.
Candidates may be asked to float between departments based on
facility needs. It is essential to maintain excellent patient care
and adhere to safety protocols within the unit. Availability for
weekend shifts may be required. Adherence to minimum requests for
time off during the assignment is expected. Recommended
certifications and experience must be presented prior to the
position. All candidates must be prepared for interviews as part of
the selection process. The role involves direct patient
interaction, necessitating strong communication skills.
