Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant - Discipline: Therapy - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Outpatient Clinic We’re seeking a motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for an outpatient clinic focused on helping patients return to full function through individualized, evidence-based care. This is a great opportunity to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on patient outcomes and professional growth. Setting: Outpatient orthopedic clinic serving a diverse patient population including post-operative, sports injury, and general orthopedic cases. You’ll work closely with Physical Therapists and a supportive rehab team to deliver high-quality care. Responsibilities: - Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist - Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and functional activities - Utilize modalities and manual techniques as appropriate - Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising PT - Educate patients on home exercise programs and injury prevention - Maintain accurate and timely documentation Schedule: - Full-time, typically Monday–Friday - Day shifts; no weekends or holidays (varies by clinic) Requirements: - Active PTA license (or eligibility) in the state of practice - Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program - Outpatient or orthopedic experience preferred, but new grads may be considered - Strong communication and patient engagement skills Why This Assignment: - Supportive team environment - Consistent schedule - Opportunity to build outpatient orthopedic experience - Great fit for PTAs who enjoy patient interaction and functional progress If you’re looking for an outpatient setting where you can make a meaningful impact and grow your clinical skills, this is an excellent opportunity.
