Job Description:
We're searching for Emergency Room (ER) Travel Nurses to fill immediate openings at a hospital in Newport News, VA. Emergency Room (ER) Travel Nurses act as the "eyes and ears" for Physicians in the ER by collecting primary and secondary assessment data in addition to providing direct patient care. This includes: triaging, diagnosing and prioritizing patients based on severity of need; stabilizing patients experiencing trauma; and ruling out acute medical emergencies, when appropriate, and discharging the patient safely. You will also be responsible for working with patients and families in crisis, and educating them regarding follow-up care.What are the benefits?
