for State Courts (NCSC) is an independent nonprofit court
improvement organization headquartered in Williamsburg, Virginia.
NCSC's services -- consulting, research, technical assistance,
information services, and education -- are focused on helping
courts plan, make decisions, and implement improvements that save
time and money, while ensuring judicial administration that
supports fair and impartial decision-making.NCSC is seeking an
experienced human resources generalist to fill a vacancy in the
Williamsburg, VA office. This position is part of a team of HR
professionals responsible for delivering and maintaining a
comprehensive human resources program for a diverse, geographically
dispersed workforce. Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe duties of the
Human Resources Manager - Talent Management are responsible
senior-level human resources management work performed with
considerable discretion and independence. Under the direction of
the Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer, the incumbent
will be responsible for planning, managing and implementing major
components of a comprehensive human resources program for the
organization. Responsibilities include: managing and overseeing the
delivery of human resources services in the areas of talent
management, compensation, job classification, performance
management, and providing assistance in other functional areas of
HR as needed. Work is performed with considerable discretion and
independence.Minimum QualificationsTo be considered for this
position applicants must possess the following qualifications:--- A
Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business or public
administration, or a related discipline; or a combination of
education and experience that demonstrates the ability to
effectively perform the duties of the position; --- A minimum of
eight years of experience in a human resources generalist role; ---
Considerable knowledge of human resource management practices and
techniques that provide an understanding of a comprehensive,
integrated human resources management program; --- Considerable
knowledge of management and supervisory practices and principles;
--- Knowledge of current literature, trends, and developments in
human resources management;--- Ability to analyze problems and
apply sound judgment in developing solutions; --- Ability to
communicate effectively in writing and verbally; --- Experience
working with automated talent acquisition/management systems,
automated performance management systems, payroll systems,
accounting systems, Microsoft Office 365 and other automated HRIS
platforms; and --- Professional certification through HRCI or
