etc.) HR expertise in support of the Nuclear and Environmental
Group within Mission Technologies. This is an exciting opportunity
to create, implement and drive creative and unique Human Capital
Solutions by partnering with key stakeholders throughout HR and
-leaders in an HR Manager role out of our office in the Newport
News, VA location. -Candidate must have the ability to travel up to
25% . Flexible Work Schedules are available local to the Newport
News area; however, candidate is required to attend meetings in
person as needed/weekly. -

preferred.Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!The
individual we are interested in joining our team has a record of
accomplishment in the Human Resources field as an HR Business
Partner at the Manager level and has translatable experience that
he/she can articulate to demonstrate the following experience:
- Possesses a consultative engagement mindset and effectively
engages with all levels of leadership including senior leadership,
HR Managers/Business Partners, TA Managers or Recruiters,
Compensation, Benefits and Security to identify priorities and
deliverables.
- Experience with employee relations matters to include
conducting and overseeing investigations and writing reports,
knowledge of employment regulatory requirements as they pertain to
in the Government Contracting space.
- Must be able to demonstrate experience handling multiple tasks
in a team-based, fast paced, high demand environment and possess
excellent communication, organization and time management
skills.
- Understands and effectively responds to the complexity of
solutions with a dispersed workforce. -
- Partners with BD, PM and TA in support of new bids and
re-compete bids to ensure development of hiring strategy, and
identifying any legal concerns in support of the WARN Act.
-What you must have:
- Bachelor's Degree plus 6+ years relevant progressive experience
with Bachelors in related field; or 4 years relevant progressive
experience with Masters in related field
- Experience as mid-level Human Resources Business Partner
- Previous experience with a Human Resource Information System.
Having experience with SAP SuccessFactors is a plus
- Must have experience interacting with multiple HR domains such
as TA, Compensation, Benefits
- Ability to demonstrate effective influencing skills
- Ability to demonstrate superb communication skills
- Previous experience supervising and mentoring lower level HR
personnel
