Job Description Allied Universal is seeking Flexible Armed Security Guards to work up to 40 hours a week at one of the North Carolina Department of Adult Corrections Facilities. As a Armed Security Guard, you will be responsible for patrolling the inside and outside areas of the Correctional Facilities. $21 / hour Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation to get you to assigned location. Experience in armed security, corrections, military, or law enforcement is a plus, enhancing the ability to succeed in the role. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
