Job Description: Ferguson has has an exciting opportunity for a remote .NET SharePoint Developer to join the IT Associate Technology team.We are seeking a full-time developer to join our team to develop and maintain custom applications for clients using C#/.Net and Microsoft SQL. The successful applicant will participate in the full life-cycle duties. This includes the design, development, testing, documentation, installation, and support of applications and configure solutions for complex workflow development using SharePoint Online, Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Flow and .NET/SharePoint services and applications. This role works with key business stakeholders throughout the organization to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements, and ultimately into delivered solutions that solve business problems, increases productivity and streamlines processes. The .NET/SharePoint Developer will report to the Manager of Enterprise Collaboration within the IT department.**This position is approved to sit 100% REMOTE. If local to the Newport News, VA area, you will have the option for in-office work, once it is permitted.**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: --- Provides ongoing development and administration support services for SharePoint, .NET and other collaboration applications and Office 365 to include: OneDrive, Stream, PowerApps, Microsoft Flow, Power BI--- Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their needs and translates them into technical requirements utilizing the most effective and efficient solutions using SharePoint, PowerApps, Microsoft Flow and/or .NET--- Performs interface modifications to SharePoint utilities and tools, workflow development, solution deployments, and process management--- Deploys custom developed and third-party SharePoint solution packages--- Experience working with SharePoint Designer, Visual Studio and PowerShell--- Experience with client-side frameworks for SharePoint Online development--- Web programming skills including JavaScript, jQuery, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, Angular/REACT, C#, .NET and CSS/Bootstrap--- Experience with SharePoint Framework applications in .NET--- Documents internal processes and maintains technical documentation--- Identifies risks and makes recommendations for best practices and governance compliance--- Provides technical support of SharePoint workflows, Business Connectivity Services (BCS) Connections and application integrations--- Provides recommendations on SharePoint Site architecture, design and processes--- Creates and manages out-of-box workflows to automate processes--- Manages search scopes and site indexing features--- Creates, leverages and manages content types, site columns, lookups and templates for re-use in support of custom template rollouts---Serves as tier 3 technical support for SharePoint development-related incidents and requests--- Nice-to-have with developing and implementing SharePoint solutions in Azure--- Nice-to-have experience with SharePoint Administration--- Nice-to-have experience with Agile tracking softwareREQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: --- Successful history as a hands-on developer lead for SharePoint projects in a complex and fast-paced large environment--- Experience with SharePoint application development, including developing solutions using custom development with .NET, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, Angular JS, Knockout, Bootstrap, etc.--- Development experience with multiple SharePoint versions including SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online--- Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts and workflow creation--- Experience with the integration of SharePoint third party tools (i.e. ShareGate, Metalogix) preferred--- Ability to express ideas clearly in written and verbal communications--- Ability to follow established software development processes and procedures--- Strong ability to estimate tasks and project scope as input to project management plans and to adhere to project timelines--- Strong ability to work independently--- Strong interpersonal skills while working with a high-performing team#LI-REMOTE-The Company is an equal opportunity employer as well as a government contractor that shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR 60-300.5(a), which prohibits discrimination against qualified protected Veterans and the requirements of 41 CFR 60-741.5(A), which prohibits discrimination against qualified individuals on the basis of disability. - provided by Dice
