Job DescriptionData Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a
Software Architect. The Software Architect will be responsible
designing and developing new software products or major
enhancements to existing software. Lead development teams in design
of highly complex software systems. Acts as highest-level technical
expert, addressing problems of systems integration, compatibility,
and multiple platforms. Performs feasibility analysis on potential
future projects to management. The Software Architect should have
the following experience: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer
Science, Information Systems or other closely related discipline
and 10+ years of relevant experience OR MA/MS Degree and 12+ years
of experience Designing and architecting web/cloud services and
enterprise architectures and large-scale systems Performing
architect driving software development activities with systems
architecture development, application interfaces/interoperability
via software architecture design methods and design tools Defining
system/product requirements and creating high-level architectural
specifications Designing systems architecture, systems strategy,
integration services and applications infrastructure for developing
enterprise software products Developing detailed long-range plans
for the implementation of software solutions including language,
coding, platform, resource requirements, testing, and documentation
Documented proficiency with MS Office tools including Excel,
PowerPoint, and Word Comfortable working in a dynamic environment
with several ongoing concurrent projects; able to multitask,
prioritize, and manage time effectively Excellent written and
verbal communication skills; good Interpersonal skills and
communication with all levels of leadership A drive to learn and
master new technologies and techniques; desire to maintain currency
on latest industry trends including completing additional training;
able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently
Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a
challenge; able to analyze problems and strategize solutionsDesired
experience includes the following: Experience with cybersecurity
efforts and Risk Management Framework (RMF) Experience with cloud
migrations including inventory, assessment, and migration planning
efforts Experience with Azure and AWS cloud solutions and
environments Experience with enterprise-level data analysis,
machine-learning, operations research, modeling, and
business/mission intelligence tools. Developing, implementing,
integrating, and evaluating data architecture-related projects
Experience with ITIL, DevSecOps and agile environments and
toolsSecurity Clearance & Certification Requirements: MUST HAVE AN
ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE; this will be verified prior to
interview. Therefore, only US Citizens can be considered for this
position. Must have IAT III certification: CASP+ CE, or CCNP
Security, or CISA, or CISSP (or Associate), or GCED or GCIHCOVID-19
