hiring for a Full Time Digital Product Manager to work a hybrid
schedule from our City Center Headquarters located in Newport News
, VA . Job Summary: Performs the discovery, delivery, and
performance of digital and technology products and their
experiences for the credit union and its members. Collaborates with
internal stakeholders and partners to tackle complex and
challenging problems to optimize the members’ (internal/external)
experiences with market o�erings. Designs and drives
implementation of multi-platform digital and technology solutions.
Optimizes and improves existing products and experiences across all
channels and platforms to drive KPIs/KRIs. Employs Human-Centered
Design and Design Thinking methodologies to bring world-class
Digital and/or Technology-driven products to market. Essential
Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities: Independently leverages
Digital or Technology research, business and market intelligence,
and data-driven insights to identify opportunities, propose
solutions, create and maintain roadmaps, and improve performance.
Translates Digital and/or Technology products and experience
opportunities (member ‘needs’ and ‘wants’ as well as all other
input) into initiatives (i.e.: Epics, Features, Requirements) and
drives the execution strategy development. Shepherds Digital or
Technology and experience opportunities from idea to market
validation through collaboration with all relevant stakeholders or
SMEs (Business, UX, Technology, Ops, Marketing, etc.). Leads the
development of business case artifacts and hypothesis for scoping
and prioritization of efforts. Continuously leverages data-driven
problem-solving techniques and analytical rigor to understand and
report on product and experience performance against KPIs/KRIs.
Generates meaningful insights through various tools and resources
to uncover areas of opportunity and applies those insights to
Digital or Technology products and member experience improvements.
Troubleshoots and tests new technical features, functions and
upgrades to web and mobile solutions. Prepares compelling
presentations and other forms of communication to present and
communicate complex concepts to a diverse audience. Possesses and
expert level of technical processes and functional knowledge
regarding Origination and Digital Banking Platforms. Maintains and
applies an advanced knowledge of business, technology, UX, relevant
experiences and processes, and possesses a mature execution of
product management principles. Conducts internal and external
research and conducts situational analysis to identify and apply
industry and technical best practices and trends to increase the
effectiveness of Digital or Technology products. Ensures that risks
associated with business activities are e�ectively identified,
measured, monitored, and controlled according to risk and
compliance policies and procedures. Serves as a resource to team
members and assists with on-boarding new employees. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, four years of related
experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience
required), or a combination of education and experience required.
Four years of Digital/Technology Product Management experience,
including Digital/Technology experience in Strategy/Planning,
Innovation, User Experience, Process Engineering, Analytics, and
Research/Testing. One year of Customer Contact Channel experience
within the financial services industry. Demonstrated ability to
effectively develop, present, influence, and communicate business
decisions. Knowledge of Agile Methodology. Our Keys to Success:
