What is the opportunity for you?
The focus of the Sales Operations Analyst will be optimization
of sales and operational efficiency through innovative thinking,
process improvement, and data analysis. A successful candidate in
this role will be a critical thinker who can work independently and
is able to prioritize their work according to the needs of the
business. The Sales Operations Analyst will work closely with Sales
Supervisors and Managers to determine what reporting/analytics
needs exist. The Sales Operations Analyst will need to have very
strong communication skills as they will contribute to the overall
sales approach of the Build with Ferguson Sales Center by compiling
and presenting data that informs strategic changes that increase
revenue or provide a better customer experience. The Sales
Operations Analyst will be working heavily with our CRM
(Salesforce) and Business Intelligence Tools (Birst & Power BI) and
will need to be comfortable compiling and manipulating large sets
of data in Excel.
What are you going to do?
Create and Manage Reports and Dashboards for the Sales
Leadership Team (Salesforce, Excel, Power BI)
Perform ad-hoc analysis of recent trends when needed
Manage and iterate upon the current monthly goal setting
Analyze monthly performance to expectations and summarize in a
clearly written presentation that answers the questions "How did we
do?", "What went well?", "What needs to improve?"
Monitor and report on month to date KPI performance, alerting
leadership of possible issues as they begin to arise
Design and enhance sales processes where needed to improve the
Sales Center's overall effectiveness
- Summarize analysis into clearly written presentations to
outline operational business observations and improvements
What are you going to bring to the table?
Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or 1-3
years equivalent work experience
Experience with Salesforce CRM (Report and Dashboard creation
Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of products (Outlook,
Word, Power Point)
Moderate to advanced skill in Excel (lookups, sumifs, Pivot
Business Intelligence Software experience preferred (Power BI or
SQL experience preferred
Ability to work on projects with minimal oversight at times
Strong ability to model data and think critically about revenue
