a Part-Time Plus (30+ hours/week) Event Porter. The successful
candidate must possess a sincere passion to work with seniors;
experience in the senior living industry is

FUNCTIONSProperly sets up and resets meeting rooms per
specifications, including tables, chairs and audio visual equipment
for a variety of eventsMaintains organization and cleanliness of
meeting space rooms, equipment and storage spacesProvides courteous
and professional services at all timesProperly moves and stores
equipment such as tables, chairs, and lecterns as requiredAssists
with audio visual and other technical meeting servicesAble to lift
and maneuver heavy items (max 50lbs)Practice safe and effective
methods of work, use of equipment and toolsProvides support to
catering staffPerforms other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSHigh
School Diploma or equivalent and basic proficiency using a computer
to retrieve set-up documentation via email is required; superior
customer service and interpersonal skills; ability to work
independently with a high sense of initiative.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND
ABILITIESAbility to read, write, and speak proper English; ability
to understand and follow verbal and written instructions; ability
to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; ability to
lift, carry, and move large, heavy items on a regular basis up to a
