SUMMARY: Seeking Quality Assurance Inspectors who will be inspecting materials and products such as fabricated components, castings, electrical and hydraulic components, various structural components and raw materials to ensure conformance to specifications. CWI Certification Required Job Requirements:REQUIREMENTS: Education & Experience: Level 2: High School diploma or equivalent and 1-4 years of experience with quality assurance inspections or manufacturing inspections

• Level 3: High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years experience as a Quality Inspector.
• Level 4: High School diploma or equivalent and 8 years of experience as a Quality Inspector. Skills/Knowledge: Level 2
  • Able to read and interpret documents and procedure manuals
  • Ability to calculate fractions and decimals
  • MS Office, Contact Management systems and Internet software
  • Ability to use measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers or tape measures
  • Apply basic concepts of geometry, especially angles, cylinders and planes
  • Standard shop practices
  • Able to implement LEAN, 5S
  • Interpret drawings and specifications
  • Able to operate overhead cranes
  • CWI certified
    • Level 3:
    • Able to perform receiving inspection and returns inspection
    • Able to understand the basics of fabrication, welding, mechanics, hydraulics, electronics and raw materials
    • CWI cerified
      • Level 4:
      • Use arithmetic, geometry and trigonometry
      • Perform first article inspections and documentation
      • Operate fork lifts and overhead cranes
      • Use all types of inspection equipment and precision measurement devices
      • Able to create or manipulate Adobe PDF documents
      • Able to participate in the ship release program
      • CWI certified All Levels:
        • Must be able to travel 1% of the time domestically and internationally for a duration of up to 5 days.
        • Must be able to maintain a driver's license and obtain a passport.
