vacation time ResponsibilitiesAs a Camera Repair Technician 3, you
will conduct basic repair, cleaning and maintenance on Canon
Consumer Level Imaging products in accordance with factory
specifications. You will also develop skills and proficiencies in
order to broaden product knowledge and repair processes, techniques
and capabilities.- Performs the following essential functions on at
least one of the following consumer level products: Lens,
Powershot, DSLR, or Video. - Performs repairs including servicing /
replacing: covers, mounts, switches, PCB's, CMOS and LCD's (if
applicable), optics and re-solder wire/PCB solder joints. -
Receives incoming units and performs basic diagnostic test. -
Performs inspection and evaluates any damage caused by impact,
liquid and tamper damage. - Checks for dust/debris on the optics
and cleans optics as required. - Services unit using factory repair
guides, service bulletins, check sheets and work standards.
Confirms completed repairs meet CVI standards and documents all
parts used in the repairs. - Completes the appropriate
documentation and enters information into the technical database
for unit tracking. - Verifies repair instructions and part manuals
for correctness and reports any errors to management. - Performs
operational inspection, repetitive disassembly and assembly.
Qualifications- High School Diploma or GED and some small component
assembly, repair, troubleshooting or related experience preferred.
- Must pass basic computer skills and reading comprehension
assessment. - Basic computer skills required. - Digital photography
experience preferred. - Intermediate hand dexterity and small tool
handling ability preferred. - Must be 18 years of age to apply.
