Northrop Grumman is seeking a motivated professional to join our
team as Associate Engineer Systems / Engineer Systems. Locations:
Newport News, VA; Warner Robbins, GA; Rome, NY; Washington Capital
District; Bellevue, NE. The selected candidate will be motivated,
energetic, and willing to learn. The candidate will work on a small
team supporting the Defense Weapons Systems. They will support the
integration of AFDCGS mission capabilities to include:
installation, maintenance, and sustainment.
Positions are unfunded awaiting award.
Daily responsibilities include:
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification
and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness
analyses for total systems.
- Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to
include: concept, design, test, installation, operation and
maintenance.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or
product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge
technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade
studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies
to translate customer requirements into hardware and software
specifications.
- Design, engineer, integrate, and upgrade the Open Architecture
(OA) infrastructure IT stacks, provide Tier 3/4 engineering support
and manage development, integration, and testing environments to
accommodate a DevSecOps construct.
- Install, maintain, and sustain OA Enterprise Services.
- May include travel to other locations.

Associate Engineer Systems:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical Engineering or related
discipline with 0 years of related experience
- Must currently possess an active DoD Secret Clearance with the
ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret Clearance
- Must be able to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
within a timely manner
- Willing to work flexible schedule to maintain operational
capability
- IT skills in Windows, Linux, or Solaris platforms
- Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure technology such as: AWS,
Azure, OpenStack, etc.
- Familiar with x86-based server hardware and troubleshooting
methods
- Knowledge of containerization, including Docker and
Kubernetes
- Knowledge of software configuration management tools such as:
Git and Jira
- Knowledge of Agile Methodologies Experience
- Knowledge of integration, and testing environment that supports
a DevSecOps construct.Basic Qualifications for Engineer

discipline with 2 years of related experience
- Must currently possess an active DoD Secret Clearance with the
ability to obtain a DoD Top Secret Clearance
- Must be able to obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
within a timely manner
- Willing to work flexible schedule to maintain operational
capability
- IT skills in Windows, Linux, or Solaris platforms
- Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure technology such as: AWS,

- Ability to install patches according to a Patch Management
Plan

- AF DCGS Knowledge or experience Salary Range: $57,800 USD -
$100,300 USD
Salary Range 2: $70,600 USD - $122,500 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
