Job Description:
As a PRN Radiologic Technologist, you are a critical member of
the clinic team! You will engage directly with our patients and
work ensure an exceptional patient experience by performing all
Radiology services and other clinic duties to support patient care
delivery.You will work in conjunction with our providers
(Physician/Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant) (Provider),
clinical staff, front desk staff, and complete the following
duties:1.Prepares patients for radiologic procedures. Takes X-Rays
following established procedures for patient care and safety.2.Uses
a variety of radiation protection and shielding materials3. Ensures
equipment is in working order. Reports equipment malfunctions to
Practice Manager.4. Logs radiologic procedures completed. Processes
related paperwork using computer equipment as directed.5. Maintains
examination room; stocks necessary medical and radiologic
supplies.6. Performs general clinical duties to ensure good patient
flow. These duties include, but are not limited to:a.Taking vital
signsb.Rooming in VLDc.Injections under provider
supervisiond.Venipuncturee.Snellen Eye Chartf.CLIA Waived Lab
Testingg.Orthopedic Splintingh.Bandaging (without packing)i.Set Up
and Chaperone (if needed) during procedures/exams (e.g. pelvic,
laceration repairs)j.Calling 911 and transfer processk.Hazardous
Waste Disposall.Exam Room Turnoverm.EKGn.Ear Lavage7.Responsible
for packaging, signing of medical records release forms and logging
X-Rays.8.Ensures all radiographs achieve a radiographic
interpretation by clarifying discrepancies.9.Maintain HIPAA
standards and confidentiality regarding patient personal and
financial information.10.All other duties as assigned.OTHER

or without notice.EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:Must be a graduate of
an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.Must be licensed and
accredited by ARRT and the Commonwealth of Virginia.Two years of
clinical experience in related field preferred.Willingness to work
flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and
holidays.Strong organizational, time management, and
problem-solving skills.Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred and is
required within 90 days of hire.
