Job Description:

The primary purpose of this position is to promote the Credit Union's business services efforts. This is accomplished by building new business contacts and strengthening existing business relationships. Other duties include conducting monthly branch sales meetings, and/or training sessions with each branch; documenting sales meeting summary, and relaying pertinent information to the Vice President of Business Services and performing other duties as requested. Performance will be measured by meeting deposit, loan production goals, and referral goals.

Responsibilities Include:

• Create new business contacts by informing prospective members of business products and services offered by the credit union.
• Maintaining relationships with current business members.
• Scheduling weekly meetings with future business members.
• Promoting open communication with current staff by conducting monthly sales meetings and training sessions.
• Encouraging credit union employees to promote business products and services through daily personal interactions, and following up on referral leads in a timely manner.
• Assists in the opening of business member accounts to reach sales goals.
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
  • Required Experience: A minimum of 2-4 years of outside sales experience.
  • Preferred Experience: Previous related experience within the financial industry preferred.
  • Preferred Knowledge: Prior knowledge of business services and products preferred.
  • Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong customer service skills to include telephone skills, a high level of initiative, excellent organizational skills, with a proven record of attention to detail, and reliability.
