The Claims Auto/GL Adjuster will directly oversee claim handling for the most complex accounts. Our accounts are primarily self-insured, and you will be responsible for working within deductibles and claims handling commercial clients.
This position is full-time. Employees are required t have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.--

Primary Responsibilities:

• Review new claims on designated client accounts and establish a plan of action to achieve favorable claim resolution.
  
• Attend and facilitate client meetings, claims reviews and vendor visits.
  
• Review claims status and action plans using advanced problem resolution skills.
  
• Provide status reports to clients and keep Account Executives and Claims Managers informed.
  
• Advocate, consult and provide advice to clients as appropriate.
  
• Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate resolution of the most complex claims in accordance with company guidelines and best claims practices.

  • High School Diploma (or higher) OR equivalent work experience
    
  • 2+ years of General Liability or Auto claims experience.
    
  • Claims Adjusters (520 or 620) License or willing to obtain within 1 year.
    
  • Ability to work full-time. Employees are required t have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
    Preferred Qualifications:
    
    • Associate's Degree (or higher)
      
    • 5+ years of P&C Claims experience
      
    • 5+ years of General Liability or Auto Claims experience.
      Telecommuting Requirements:
      
      • Reside within the state of Florida OR Virginia
        
      • Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
        
      • Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
        
      • Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.
