In this role, you will work closely with our product engineering team and other internal departments to plan, coordinate and monitor project schedule, budget, resources, and handle other vital tasks to ensure successful and timely completion of all projects. ResponsibilitiesContinue reading to review the responsibilities involved:- Assist with the creation of and maintain detailed MS Project Schedules; manage deadlines, monitor progress and ensure team members are meeting established targets. - Maintain understanding of the status of each project. - Present and explain projects to stakeholders and management. - Follow up on deviations from established timelines to determine reasons schedule is not being met and communicates any necessary adjustments to project team. - Use knowledge of businesses, organizations, products, processes, tools (i.e. MS Project/Gantt Charts), resource leveling and allocation techniques to ensure project requirements are met. - Monitor and control projects through weekly reports to management and stakeholders. - Monitor resource usage to ensure critical tasks are optimized and resources are not over allocated. Coordinate with appropriate personnel to obtain necessary resources. - Evaluate current departmental practices and recommend changes to improve efficiency of planning and scheduling projects. - Perform critical path analysis to resolve projected completion date. Identify when to adjust tasks to accelerate project completion.- Raise issues that impact timing and/or budget to appropriate stakeholders.
