CORPORATE COMPENSATION ANALYSTLocation:Newport News, Virginia,
United StatesDate: May 26, 2022**Job Description**Compensation
Analyst 3 reports to the Manager, Corporate Compensation and is
responsible for providing support and analysis in both the
day-to-day and the strategic responsibilities of the corporate
compensation function and equity management. Responsible for the
effective delivery and execution of enterprise-wide short and long
term incentive programs as well as market benchmarking and all
aspects of compensation administration for the HII corporate
office.Responsibilities include but not limited to:1. Participate
in annual merit and incentive award processes, to include
developing and generating communications regarding all incentive
programs as needed to ensure ongoing effective and efficient
communications with corporate and division participants2.
Participate in executive level and general industry surveys for
market rate analysis to ensure the effective benchmarking of all
compesation and rewards programs vs the competitive landscape3.
Manage and maintain updated market survey and employee information
to facilitate analysis requests or concerns4. Research and prepare
information as necessary for responses to internal, external and
government auditors5. Provide day to day administration support for
the equity plan, including monthly reporting, ongoing and annual
administration tasks and audits.**Basic Qualifications**6 Years of
relevant professional experience with Bachelor's Degree in related
field; 4 years of relevant professional experience with a Master's
Degree. In additon a candidate must be a strategic thinker and have
strong analytical, organizational, financial and business
expertise.**Preferred Qualifications**Master's in Business
Administration or Human ResourcesCertified Compensation
Professional (CCP)Candidate should have an understanding of the
financial and accounting impacts of total and executive rewards
programs, as well as a thorough understanding of related
legislative and regulatory issues impacting rewards programs+ Req
