The company's solutions enable users to manufacture various types of chip cards, including ID, contact, and dual interface cards, as well as multimedia cards and smart labels for access control and supply chain management. M--hlbauer's equipment is used to personalize Virginia Driver Licenses as well as licenses in other states in order to protect documents against counterfeiting and alteration.

M--hlbauer, Inc is looking to hire an experienced Electrical Engineer- Automation Technology at its Newport News, Virginia location. The ideal candidates have project management experience in order to design, develop and support automated machines.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for project planning, and further development and support of our PC-controlled automatic handling systems in accordance with the relevant guidelines and regulations

Design drive systems

Configure control systems

Create test setups, test plans and test criteria

Prepare technical documentation using ECAD

Support the creation of functional and requirement specifications

Education and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in the field of electrical engineering, computer science, automation engineering or field directly related to the position

Experience working in an automation environment, preferable with automation technology, drive technology and/or Beckhoff Automation

Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP software

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with attentiveness to details
