World Fuel Services awarded the 39 spot on the Forbes 2021 America''s Best Midsize Employers to work for.SummaryAs the Marine Terminal Manager for World Fuel Services, you will be primarily responsible for broad range tactical and strategic activities involving deployment and maintenance of fuel tanks and computer electronics equipment used in supplying and managing our customers'' petroleum product needs. The Marine Terminal will perform and manage on-site and mobile technology maintenance, repairs, and technical support for field IT equipment -such as remote fuel monitoring equipment and truck computers; and will also be responsible for inventory control, managing outside vendors, budget forecasting and direct supervision of Field Equipment employees. This is a Marine Terminal Manager position and requires that you MUST be able to work remotely (indoors and outdoors) at any time and travel within a specified geographical area to perform the job requirements. World Fuel Services provides a Transportation Package within its'' compensation plan. This position will be based in the Virginia Beach / Newport News area (Specific office location to be determined at time of hire).Key ResponsibilitiesProvide oversight and direction to the employee in the department in accordance with the organization''s policies and procedures.Perform and manage on-site and mobile technology maintenance, repairs, and technical support for field IT equipment.Schedule deployment and maintenance of fuel tanks.Manage our customers'' petroleum product needs.Create and maintain all required service documentation of both WFS-owned and Customer-owned equipment.Coach, mentor, and develop employee, provide career development planning and opportunitiesPerforms other related duties, tasks, requests, and directives issued from leaders as required.Requirements, Competencies and CertificationsCreates an environment of belonging where all team members feel safe and valued.Utilizes individuals'' strengths and effectively compensates for limitations so the team can thrive.Knows when to be directive and when to step back and allow the group to decide.Set well-defined objectives and measures that align with the business line vision and strategyExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
