• Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.
• Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience within submarine engineering as well as submarine construction.
  • Experience working in a 3D product model environment, SAP and familiarity with electrical standards for cable pans, clips, hangers, etc, is a plus.
  • Experience with Siemens Teamcenter and NX (3D)
  • Experience working with technical documents/drawings.
  • Coordinate design criteria with other departments and external organizations to ensure that all requirements are met.
  • Require good oral and written skills and be comfortable "directing traffic" between all involved parties with limited supervision.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with suppliers/customers.
  • Communications skills
  • Computer literate
