Job Description:

Primary Function: Assists the Director of Call Center & Guest Services with the daily operations of the inside sales team, and all sales activities relating to sales and customer satisfaction within the School, Youth & Group Sales Department. Assists with: training supporting agents, handling escalations, monitoring calls and the queue, employee relations, and customer concerns. Assumes the duties of an Inside Sales Rep when required.Work To Be Performed:Assists Director of Call Center & Guest Services with the daily operations of the inside sales team.Assists in building a solid sales/lead generation team that exceeds sales goals.Recommends improvements to inside sales and sales administrative processes.Monitors employee productivity and motivates team to reach targeted sales goals.Assists with planning and coordinating department activities and projects to meet sales goals and timelines.Works as a resource for agent's questions.Evaluate, test and implement any ticketing software changes. Develop manuals, procedures, policies, and training materials as necessary.Assists with implementing group sales strategy and prospect lists. As directed, orchestrate group sales mailings and conduct follow-up communication with prospects and returning groups. Assists with developing and managing special promotions and campaigns.Address, and recommend solutions to resolve customer service issues and inquiries.Monitors employee sales calls and provides feedback to Sr. Manager with recommendations for coaching and training as needed.Follow established accounting procedures, including accurate and timely daily audit and performance reporting, credit card charges, security of tickets, credit card information, cash and receipts, reconciliation reports, ticket sales reports.Audits employee banks, and ensures that daily deposits and financial transactions balance. Monitors employee financial discrepancies.Creates work schedules.Ensures that the sales team has all the sales aid tools they require to make good presentations.Investigate reasons for lost sales.Generate timely reports, such as monthly sales reports and target performance.Assumes duties of Inside Sales Representative, when required.Performs all other duties as required.Supervision to Be Exercised: Direct: n/aIndirect: Works closely with other departments - 6 Inside Sales RepresentativesDirection Received: Supervision from Senior ManagerQualifications: At least 3 years of relevant experience preferredMust be able to work in a team environment and demonstrate strong leadership skillsEffectively use software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong knowledge of computer hardware, CRM software, & peripheralsDemonstrate strong verbal and written skillsDemonstrate professionalism with peers, subordinates, superiors and customers.Manage time and prioritize effectively; demonstrate an ability to cope with a complex and changing environmentAbility to gather data, prepare reports, organize, coordinate and prioritize a variety of assignments with varying deadlines; work effectively under pressure with frequent interruptions; function effectively in an administrative support capacity and maintain strict confidentiality; maintain detailed and accurate records; prepare clear and concise written reports; ability to train others.Preferred: Possession of a four-year degree from an accredited college with a major in Business or Marketing. Experience working in a sales and result-oriented environment. Strong supervisory skills, and a keen knowledge of Group Sales.
