Job Description:
Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a dedicated sales professional to maintain
and grow our customer base. The ideal candidate has experience and
knowledge of either the fiber optics, metrology instrumentation,
industrial laser, or semiconductor manufacturing industries.
Specific Responsibilities:
Meet established sales objectives with the company's team for a
specific portfolio of customers and prospects
Aptitude to develop a deep knowledge of the client's engineered
product.
Understand the needs and challenges of individual customers and
prospects as it pertains to fiber optics.
Reply with adequate technical solutions to requests for quotation
and other customer inquires.
Oversee pricing strategies and margin management for a dedicated
customer base and/or product line
Consolidate market trends on a product/technology level and provide
input to a cohesive business development strategy
Travel across the USA and occasionally Europe to meet with customer
and prospects, and to attend trade shows
Support the creation of marketing media such as case studies,
newsletters and sales presentations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, ideally in a technical field, or equivalent work
experience.
2 years of experience working in a B2B/Industrial product
engineering or sale positions.
Proven track record of growing business in a certain region or for
a certain product/division
Outstanding communication, presentation and interpersonal
skills
Comprehensive trainings on sales techniques
Self-Motivated and Self-Directed with strong attention to detail,
problem solving and analytical skills
Working knowledge of ERP and CRM systems and proficient in MS
Office
Ability to legally work in the United States.
